Long wavy curly hair can make you the most charming party queen, playful kinky curly hair that will make you look vibrant. No matter the kind of curly hair, it has its unique charm. But it can be quite difficult to tame them, especially on a bad hair day. Sometimes, even the strongest gels don’t work on your curls, leaving them unmanageable.

If we want to turn sweet hair into more manageable hairstyles, or if you want to follow the current trend, you must try to turn the curls into straight hair. In fact, turning curly hair into straight hair is not as difficult as you think. With the right tools and a little patience, you can easily straighten your curls. To help you achieve this smooth hairstyle, we have edited our ultimate guide to straightening your curly hair.
First, we need to prepare some tools, a high-heat blow dryer, high-quality flatiron, a great round brush, a good straightening product, hair serum for a smooth. Then we can start turning your curly hair into straight hair at home.

Step 1: wash your hair and maintain your hair. Use a gentle shampoo and a supple conditioner to prepare for straightening your hair. No matter how gentle you are, straightening your hair is harmful, so using a gentle hair care product to a deep care for your hair can help prevent more damage. Dry the hair with a towel, and smooth a dime-size amount of a straightening cream, balm, gel, or lotion throughout the hair to get it ready for blow drying and flat ironing.

Step 2: Using a round bristle brush, carefully straighten the hair while drying the hair. You can switch between the hot and cold settings of the hair dryer to make sure your hair doesn't overheat. Always do this until your hair is completely dry. If you have thick curly hair, it takes more effort to get the smooth, straight look you want. So we need to use the flatiron to do the job.

Step 3: Put the top half of your hair in a bun or clip it on top of your head. Divide the bottom half of your hair into small sections about one to two inches wide. Using a comb, pull out a section of the hair as taut as possible with one hand, while smoothing a flatiron along that section with the other. Start at the roots of the hair and move to the end in one fluid motion, then repeat a couple of times to make sure that the section of hair is straight. After one section is done to your satisfaction, repeat the process on the other sections.

Step 4: When you're all done, use a small amount of a silicone serum or spray for a smooth and polished look. Serums work best on coarse, thick hair, while sprays are preferred for normal to fine or thin hair.

Note: Never use a flat iron on damp hair—you must blow dry your hair first.
