Long Hair Vs Short Hair - Which Is Better

The debate about long and short hair has been going on for a long time. Choose long hair or cut it short? Women fall head over heels at the thought of cutting their hair short, and when they do, they want their hair long. Well, our goal is definitely not to start a long vs. short debate, but it's endless. I can only say that there are pros and cons to long hair and short hair. You can always find the right hairstyles.

Pros for long hair

1. Having long hair will make you more feminine and will make you look more diverse. Long hair allows your hair to curly, wavy or stay straight, creating some of the most elegant hairstyles. For example, you can wear your hair in a beautiful French bun or a half updo to complement your classy outfits.

2. It keeps you warm. Seriously, every time you catch a cold, your hair is like a blanket over your face, neck, and upper body. It may sound strange, but really, long hair is a lifesaver in winter.

3. You don't have to cut it often. With short hair, you need to cut it at least every six weeks, maybe earlier or you'll hate it. With long hair, though, it can take up to three months to get a haircut.

Cons for long hair

1. Shedding. Whether you're born with hair or wear a lace wig, long hair is more noticeable when it sheds. Ask your drain next time it's clogged.

2. You get the naughty static. Dry, cold winter air can also produce static electricity in your long beautiful hair.

3. Much cost on shampoo. The longer your hair is, the more shampoo you need. Girls with long hair buy an expensive bottle of shampoo every other week, while girls with short hair can buy better things.

Pros for short hair

1. Short hair saves money than long hair because it requires less styling products and less shampoo and conditioner.

2. Short hair can be very quick to style, that means less time to get ready in the morning.

3. It's cooler in summer. Imagine going to the beach with your funky summer hairstyles!

Cons for short hair

1. Limited hairstyles. It's hard to make it into a bun or a braid.

2. Depending on your hairstyle and how quickly your hair grows, you'll need to trim at the salon more often, every four to six weeks.

3. Less hair, less warmth -- nothing to cover your neck in winter.

Some short hairstyles need to be done every day to make it seem reasonable, and you may have to wash your hair every day to reduce the build-up of styling products.
